Tyonek’s support to SIAD provides visibility into refurbishment program status.
Tyonek provides on-site manufacturing and software development support to Sierra Army Depot (SIAD). With our support activity staged from Reno, NV, Tyonek provides assistance to SIAD in development of software to aide in tracking, coordinating, and measuring performance for all manufacturing activities conducted at the base. Using database technology and customized programming in Sequel based language; Tyonek has developed a set of software tools that interact with the Standard Depot System to provide critical information that provides management level insight into daily operations to keep production at peak levels.

The Sierra Army Depot's mission is to provide Department of Defense and interagency support within the Depot's core competencies - rapid deployment, power projection and industrial operations. While progressing from an ammunition demilitarization mission to a key provider of Expeditionary Logistics in recent years, SIAD has seen its workforce explode in numbers and its workload grow fourfold since 2002. Tyonek provides the needed support to aid in the efficiency and effectiveness of the depot mission operations. Services are provided in the areas of logistics, engineering, information technology, and program management, enhancing visibility for the management of depot programs and processes and provide improved visibility of inventory, re-claim and re-order functions.
