In the rapidly changing technology environment of the electronics industry, customers are continually facing challenges of obsolete parts. In a relationship with the U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM), Tyonek is engaged in a Continuous Technology Refreshment (CTR) program providing state-of-the-market technology insertion on critical weapons systems. The first article development and qualification on these programs typically span 12 to 18 months in an effort to minimize the time required to field solutions.
Combining our engineering and manufacturing capabilities with specialized capabilities provided by our teaming partners, Tyonek helps solve obsolescence problems for AMCOM. Through the use of interactive product development teams, we engage in the design and qualification of form, fit, function replacements for various military hardware items and avionics components.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation has selected Tyonek to provide electronic components and sub assemblies to augment their production lines, designating us as an extension to their Avionics Center. On our current, long-term contract we provide Just-In-Time deliveries for flight qualified electrical assemblies including relay panels and cable harnesses.
